Childcare Experience:  Sarah has extensive experience working with kids of all ages from the time she was thirteen years old. She has been a nanny, mother’s helper, neighborhood babysitter, camp counselor, teacher, after hours caretaker, and most recently, an auntie to an adorable baby nephew! Sarah also specializes in homework help, having tutored a variety of ages in phonics, grammar, reading, writing, and English. While working in after hours care, Sarah spent time in the inclusion program, working one-on-one with children with special needs. She is comfortable with all ages and with multiple children at one time.

Personal Interests:  Sarah is happiest onstage, whether performing musical theatre or Shakespeare. She loves to sing and dance and has studied ballet, tap, and jazz from the time she was a little girl. She also loves to read and can spend an entire afternoon exploring the Mid-Manhattan library for a good book or three. Sarah is passionate about education, health, nutrition, travel, and writing. She is an animal-lover and hopes to own a kitten sometime in the near future. Sarah greatly encourages story-telling, make-believe, imagination, and laughter during babysitting hours.

Personal Quote:  “It never fails to amaze me how much creativity is unleashed from a child when the adult they’re with says YES to make-believe and YES to pretend! Getting to encourage and foster imagination in a young life is an incredible joy and a gift.”
