Artistry and Special Skills:  Acting, Singing, Dancing, Photography 

Samantha was born and raised in Winnipeg, Canada but moved to New City four years ago when she booked the role of Christine in Phantom of the Opera during their 25th anniversary year! She most recently played Cosette in the revival of Les Misérables and continues to be a integral part of the New York theater community. She holds a BA from the University of Winnipeg and a BFA in acting from the University of Alberta.  

Childcare Experience:  Beginning in her church nursery, Samantha has been caring for children since she was 13 years old. Samantha lovingly babysat several families in her neighborhood with children ages 3 months to 11 years all throughout high school and continued to work with children in a daycare during university. She has also led theater classes for underprivileged children, has done volunteer tutoring for elementary aged children and has extensive experience with infants. 

Samantha believes in the power of creative play! She is responsive to the individual needs of each family and strives to make sure the children feel safe, supported and entertained. She loves helping new young artists-to-be develop their own creative endeavors. She is able to maintain a calm, respectful environment but one that is open and adventurous. Parents can leave their children with Samantha knowing they are in responsible and caring hands. From newborn development to helping with homework, Samantha is there. 

Personal Interests:  Apart from performing, Samantha is an avid photographer who especially loves capturing behind the scenes moments from her acting peers. She is also a voracious reader and a member of an awesome book club.
