Emma is a transplant from Minneapolis, MN, though she grew up in Washington D.C! She is the oldest of three siblings and is very close with her family. Emma graduated Cum Laude from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, with degrees in Theatre Performance & History Education. Emma moved to NYC to pursue her acting career and to explore the city she loves so much!

Childcare Experience: Emma’s child care experience began at a very young age, as the oldest sibling and cousin in the family! From there, her work with children expanded to volunteering in her church nursery for ages 1-3, teaching dance to students ages 4-16, and as a Teaching Artist Intern for students ages 4-18 at the Children’s Theatre Company in Minneapolis. In college, she spent 6 months in Paris studying French and living with a French speaking family. She choreographed musicals for schools and community theatres with students ages 6-18. She volunteered for three years with the organization Big Brothers, Big Sisters , and absolutely loved her time with her “little sister” Siham. After graduating, Emma began working as a Special Education Paraprofessional with students in Kindergarten through 5th grade! She has a deep love of working with differently-abled children, celebrating their successes & learning from their unique perspectives. Emma loves creating relationships in which the child feels both liked and loved!

Personal Interests: When not on stage or in rehearsal, Emma loves to travel and explore new places, read good books, and eat GREAT food! She is an avid yogi and kickboxer, and loves to be outside. More than anything, Emma adores spending time with her incredible family and friends.
