Artistry and Special Skills: Actor- Film Acting and Musical Theater 

Originally from Indiana, Austin ventured to NYC to attend NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts from where he recently graduated, receiving his BFA in Drama. While at NYU, he trained in musical theater at The New Studio on Broadway and film acting at Stonestreet Studios. His recent acting credits include the world premiere of “The Golem” written and directed by the late Elizabeth Swados, “Speech and Debate” at Barrington Stage Company, and Lucas Omar’s short film “The Cleanse”.

Childcare Experience: Being the oldest sibling of three, Austin is a natural born leader and caregiver. He has a passion for youth with developmental and behavioral disabilities/ disorders. He spent a summer being a camp aid and nanny to a 10 year old boy with Autism. He accompanied him to an educational summer camp and then provided home care after, creating activities for entertainment and enrichment. He also served as a peer tutor from middle school to high school where he worked in the special education classrooms. He babysat a 10 year old girl here in NYC who was the daughter of an NYU professor. He picked her up from her school in the west village, helped her do homework at a nearby cafĂ©/ coffee shop, and dropped her off at her gymnastics practice. He has babysat for family friends with multiple children and loves the challenge of multitasking with siblings since he was one of three kids himself! 

Personal Interests: Austin loves spending time with family and friends. He also very much enjoys community service and getting involved in activism and outreach. In his free time, he’s most likely eating ice cream and watching a movie/ Netflix. Austin is a follower of Christ and very active in his church. He is also a pescatarian and loves animals. He’s pretty much always singing and dreaming.
