Born in St. Louis Missouri, Andrew was constantly encouraged to experiment and explore artistically as a child, giving him confidence and the opportunity to excel in all areas. As a babysitter, Andrew strongly believes in creating opportunities for children to explore their interests and discover new ones. Being the youngest child in his entire family, Andrew wants to make every child feel heard and appreciated. Andrew graduated summa cum laude from Missouri State University where he received his B.F.A. in Acting. He recently performed with Royal Caribbean as a singer/dancer on the Brilliance of the Seas. 

Childcare experience:  Andrew started babysitting with his older sister when he was just 9 years old for a group of toddlers at church.  He continued babysitting for this group of toddlers for the next 6 years! Andrew specializes in creating games that stimulate the imagination.  In 2012, Andrew volunteered weekly at Miriam School for children with special needs and learning disabilities. Through this experience, Andrew developed a passion for tutoring. Andrew has taught numerous Musical Theatre and Improv camps to a wide range of kids and currently tutors with Varsity Tutors. He is also a Birthday party/PJ party performer with the NY Kid’s Club!  Andrew believes that as a babysitter, it is crucial to care for the whole child: emotionally, cognitively, physically, socially, and academically. 

Personal interests:  In his spare time, one can find Andrew writing and producing music, running around at the park, playing with cats, and connecting with his friends over a cup of coffee. Andrew also has a fascination with psychology and food. Andrew believes that it’s important to constantly be honest, kind, and humble.
